- Data we collect - None. The developer receives no personal or usage data.
- Data that stays on your device - Your "My gold" holdings, "Saved prices", price-alert rules, language, theme and the last downloaded prices (cached for offline viewing) are kept only in the app's private storage on this device. They are never uploaded and are not backed up to the cloud. You can delete them at any time by removing items in the app, clearing the app's data in Android settings, or uninstalling the app.
- Internet access - The app requests Internet permission only to download gold prices from the developer's own server (Cloudflare Workers). These requests carry no identity, no device identifiers and none of the data you keep in the app. The server is configured to keep no request logs and stores no user data. Like any internet service, the network provider (Cloudflare) may briefly process your IP address to deliver the response and to protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's own policy.
- Ads and analytics - No ads, no analytics, no Advertising ID, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
- Permissions - The app requests Internet permission to download prices, and notification permission (Android 13+ asks you first) for on-device price alerts. It does not request access to contacts, phone, SMS, location, camera, files or any other data on your device.
- Notifications - Price alerts run on your device. About every 15 minutes (as Android allows) the app checks the latest price against the rules you set on the device. No third-party push service is used. You can turn notifications off in the app or in Android settings.
- Sharing - If you tap "Share", the app opens the standard Android share sheet and you choose the destination app. The shared price text goes only to the app you pick and is then governed by that app's policy.
- Price sources - Thai gold prices come from the Gold Traders Association (or thaigoldtoday.com when the primary source is unavailable), world spot from gold-api.com and exchange rates from Frankfurter (European Central Bank reference rates). The developer's server fetches these; the app never contacts those sites directly. This is an independent app. It is not an official Gold Traders Association app and does not buy or sell gold. Prices are for reference only.
- Children - The app is not directed at children and collects no data from users of any age.
- Changes - If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
